BATMAN FACTS

We have all seen the fims and read the comics but still there are a few things that you may not know about the Bat, so we bring you these cool Batman facts

  • Bob Kane's original idea for The Batman's costume was drastically different. Clad in a bright red outfit, he was going to have blonde hair and a domino mask, while there's no sign of any sort of logo on his chest. In fact, the only thing which makes this version of the hero feel like Batman is the cape

  • The name Bruce Wayne, was derived from two historical figures. Robert the Bruce, a Scottish national hero and Mad Anthony Wayne, a hero of the American Revolution

  • His no-killing stance is known today, Batman was originally a gun-toting vigilante who would not only shoot his enemies but throw them in vats of acid, dash wasteman  gangsters off rooftops, break their necks with karate kicks and ...and hang them by their necks from Batplane.

  • A Marvel/DC comic book crossover in 1996 saw Batman merge with Wolverine, creating a new character named Dark Claw. His real name? Logan Wayne.
